Integrative Therapeutic Massage

About Me

I, Michele Munday, L.M.T., C.A. and former Educator, have been practicing Massage Therapy since 2009.  I sought out training, and a career in Massage Therapy because of my own personal relationship with Chronic Pain. Something many individuals can relate to due to postural habits, overuse syndromes and injuries. I personally have received chiropractic treatment for various spinal ailments and discomforts, as well as received multiple physical therapy treatments for various sports injuries.  I knew then, that I needed to find a way to address the body holistically without the use of medications.

I call the work I do "Integrative Therapeutic Massage", because I incorporate a wide variety of Massage Modalities into my sessions to meet the needs of each individuals specific complaints & ailments.  I have trained in a wide variety of massage forms and will incorporate treatments such as Swedish/Relaxation, Connective Tissue, Neuromuscular Therapy, Sports Massage and Reflexology into each session depending on each individuals needs and requests.

The first 5 years of my career as a Massage Therapist I worked in Massage Education as a Campus Administrator, Clinical Coordinator & Supervisor for The Arizona School of Integrative Studies (A.S.I.S Massage Education in Prescott, AZ).  From 2015-2016 I continued my career in Massage Education teaching an introduction to Sports Massage and Injury Rehabilitation.

2012-2018 I established a practice within The Bennett Clinic: A Spinal Wellness Center in Prescott Valley, Arizona alongside knowledgeable and dedicated Chiropractors and as an Independent Massage Therapist.

I have offered Mobile Massage Therapy sessions and On-Site Chair Massage in the Prescott/Prescott Valley area since 2010.
